Rose-Aimée, born in 1946, seems to have run away all her life: she has fled from her bourgeois family, from the father of her children, Consolata and the twins. Having become a famous writer, Consolata takes her only daughter, Nine, a fierce young adult, to a hut hidden in the forest. She knows the time has come. And there, in that hut, Consolata tells, during one single night, the unique story of her family. This great novel, full of emotions, humour and suspense, has won the "Vendredi" award for children's literature.
