An ancient story, extraordinarily interpreted by Beata Panáková, is not only about a beautiful and wise princess Medeia and a courageous prince Iason, but it is also a story that gives the reader an opportunity to learn about passion, and find answers to issues concerning human mission and adulthood. The young prince decides to set out on a dangerous quest for the golden fleece. He acquires it thanks to the help of gods and the princess Medeia, who has been struck by the arrow of god Eros and, thus, falls in love with the prince Iason. However, based on this action, Medeia puts herself in the opposition to her father, and therefore, must abandon her home and go with the prince Iason away. The mythological story is intensified by dreamlike, fantasy illustrations of Daniel Brunovský. The book was awarded The Best Children's Book of the Autumn 2018. The book is of such a kind of ancient stories, in which the valuable story, mirroring the culture, is connected with the illustrations – paintings. In such a way, the publisher introduces the reader into the artistry of significant Slovak artists.
