Ni ez naiz Mikel Laboa

The comic shows some chapters of the life of Mikel Laboa, one of the most loved and admired Basque singers of the 20th century. Outside the usual biographical moulds, the authors have adopted the spirit, mood and humour of Laboa's songs in this graphic novel.
Throughout the book there are 30 references to Laboa's songs. In addition, on page 126 of the book there is a list of these songs to be listened to on the Internet.
Josevisky has drawn believable portraits, uses light and shade to express the volume, and it is easy to recognise the Basque characters that abound in the book.
Joseba Larratxe received the Euskadi Literature Prize in 2023 for this book in the illustration category.
