The protagonist of this story is an ordinary boy. His house is vulgar, his profession is vulgar, even his name is vulgar. He has common habits and he renews them every day, always the same or similar. But at one point, today, he got out of bed and something unusual happened to him: he saw a crocodile under his normal bed. From this situation, and with a fine touch of humour, the author complicates the events until he reaches a rounded ending.
This book, in which the central theme is mental health, won the Spanish National Children's and Young People's Literature Award in 2003.
