This is the first book of a very talented and promising young artist who has created a perfect picture book! Her work reminds us of Komagata for the purety of the shapes, the solid colours and the play with cuts-outs that build the images. Images appear through the use of geometrical shapes and perforated pages, which construct the story around a pond and a small frog. It is a very poetic and playful book.
