This book is a sequel to the story of Joan in One-horse-ville. Joan has already got used to the new environment, housing and friends. However, she is moving again, back to the city. Joan must therefore deal with moving again, as well as with separation from friends and familiar surroundings and getting used to new classmates. The author uses a language related to the child reader, as Joan tries to use the internet and email. The book gives the reader the space needed to come to terms with the problems associated with moving, finding new friends and getting used to the new environment. The book won the award as The Best Children's Book of the Winter 2012.
