When Ben and his younger brother Karl wake up on a sunny October day, their mother is dead. Her heart stopped suddenly and so did the family’s life together. Ben, Karl and their father each react in a different way. Flashbacks give insights into the family’s life before the mother’s death and into the mother‘s love for life. The memories enable Ben to move on and to find a way of living with his grief.
