The publishing house Erein has re-edited four historical titles from Bernardo Atxaga’s work for children, four stories in a volume called Tales from the Siberian Train which, under the pretext of entertaining travellers, brings together the following stories written between 1982 and 1984: Antonino Apreta, Txitoen istorioa (A tale of some chicks), Asto bat hipodromoan (A donkey at the race track) and Jimmy Potxolo. Thematic originality and aesthetic innovation, humour, and fun language games are the main ingredients of these four works that are now full of charm and topicality.
