The illustrations of Damijan Stepančič are full of metaphors and symbolism that surprise the reader, stir his imagination and give a parallel insight. In this way, the illustrator opens up the poems, and the illustrations, together with the text, create an interwoven and solid whole of the emotional states described. The book was nominated for the Levstik Prize for text and illustrations. Both authors are among the best Slovenian children's authors.
