This wonderful board book, the third part of a popular series about Cackleville, offers fun for the whole family. Together with Luka, Amir, Lili, and Oskar, we explore different means of transportation – from the city bus that takes everyone to school and work in the morning, and the scooters they race around the playground with, to the construction machines at the site where Amir’s uncle works, and the ambulance that finally brings their neighbour Cluckrissa home, after she has once again broken her leg. The story is minimalist and refined, yet no less humorous and the illustrations are full of intriguing details that allow children to hone their observation skills and concentration.
