On the left page, a parent telling a story to a child lying in bed, holding his comforter; on the right page, a book that seems to be living an independent life on its own. At first glance, you might think that this is yet another picture book meant to help children go to bed... But that would be so wrong! The first parent telling a story to his child is... a panda, and the baby panda's comforter is... a seal. The bed is made of bamboos, and on the right page, we see a book that is growing like a bamboo... Turn the page, now it's a seal telling a story to a baby seal lying in a cradle made of ice. He's comforter is a stork. And on the right page, a book made of ice is melting... Who will be telling the story on the next page? A stork, of course... Everything is intertwined in this very funny book that offers a lot of details for the child to explore. The text is poetic, filled with a soft rhythm that will guide the child to sleep. A great book full of fantasy, which will thrill everyone, grown-up or toddler!
