Manuel was sick with a fever so his dad called the vet. There was no doctor in their tiny village, but the vet prescribed some syrup for dogs which also worked wonders for kids. It may have been the syrup or maybe the fever, but Manuel would not stop dreaming. He even had dreams within dreams. That's how he met a seller of memory scents, a deliverywoman who delivered kisses so that sleepers could dream of the kisses they had had in their lives, a bar full of liars, a nosy alien who moved through the sewers to get anywhere in the planet, and Alicia, a girl who wasn't what she seemed... Everything became complicated when his twin brother found the alien in the real world and his dad left for the bar of lies of his dreams. Oh! Well that really made a mess! Manuel had to settle that confusion and only Alicia knew how to do it.
