The book includes 12 fairy tales, i.e. symbolically one tale for each month. In the stories, one day the author meets Pitter-Patter, after he founds out, that his oranges are disappearing. Pitter-Patter is an odd character, he is neither goblin nor imp, although he has small horns. However, Pitter-Patter's main activity is pitter-pattering. This activity includes making up things, tomfoolery, and adventures. The stories are inspired by common everyday situations, but they are written in a humorous way, so that the young readers may easily relate to it. The first edition of the book was illustrated by Svetozár Mydlo and in 2017 it was published with the new illustrations of Martina Matlovičová. The book was awarded The Most Beautiful Children's Book of the Winter 2017.
