The book The Soaped Lightning is a memoir. The experienced children's writer Daniel Hevier wrote it based on the illustrations of his good friend and artistic colleague Svetozár Mydlo. The book was therefore created in an unconventional way. The writer wrote the book for finished illustrations. The illustrations are characterized by their own humour and witty stylization. The story deals with the typical conflict between good and evil: on the one side, there is a joy to create, which can bring stimuli to people's lives and become beneficial, and on the other side, there is a desire to rule over the world and manipulate people's minds.
The book was awarded The Most Beautiful Children's Book and The Best Children's Book of the Summer 2019.
