After Vert, which denounced the destruction of the forest by man, Blanc tackles global warming, through the evocation of eternal snows that will soon be no more and of a fox that ventures near houses in search of food. A message that is suggested without any heaviness, and which leaves all the room to Stéphane Kiehl's magnificent illustrations and the white of the snowstorm. The black painted tracing sheets in the centre of the album announce the danger and the loss of reference points. But the mountain top, a saving beacon, is there to guide the character.
