The plane flies over the heads of the smiling cats named Lizy and Princess, who are each waving with one hand and holding shopping bags in the other. Behind them, at the top of the picture, there are houses and skyscrapers of a big city, which strikingly resembles Toronto.

A modern fairytale story on how cats fly to Canada, written by the legend of Slovak children's literature Jaroslava Blažková, published with original and playful illustrations by the successful illustrator Martina Matlovičová. The main characters, likeable cats Lízička and Princezka, have quite human qualities and experience quite human situations. They need to pack before the trip, then many things surprise them at the airport and on the plane, and after they land, they feel the exotic nature of a foreign country, which turns out not to be exotic at all. The story, told with humour and lightness, is brilliantly complemented by the witty illustrations of Martina Matlovičová, winner of the Golden Apple at the Biennial of Illustrations Bratislava, and thus will be enjoyable for children older than 5 years, as well as older readers. The book won an award in the Most Beautiful Books of Slovakia 2020 competition.
